About Me
My running career started at Auburn High School, where as a junior I missed qualifying for the state cross country meet by one place and nine seconds. As a senior I improved immensely, qualifying for the state meet and finishing 9th overall, while graduating with track bests of 4:36.9 for the mile and 9:50.1 for 2 miles.
I ran collegiately at Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts, where in 2003 I earned NCAA All-American honors in cross country, placing 32nd overall at the national meet while leading the men’s squad to a 12th-place team finish.
Over the course of my competitive career, I’ve posted personal bests of 4:09.77 for the mile, 14:39 for 5K, 30:57 for 10K, 1:09:48 for the half-marathon and 2:28:25 for the full marathon. I finished 6th in my marathon debut at Vermont City in 2007 and placed 51st overall at the 2008 Boston Marathon in 2:30:24.
